This course is for students who have a passion for food and might be interested to find out where this could possibly lead as a career path. Even if you don't want to pursue it as a career if you love food this could be the course for you. You will learn how to extend your cookery skills allowing you to experience a wide range of foods available in our local community and further afield. This subject leads onto our Food and Nutrition, and Catering and Hospitality courses in the senior school. Classes will involve the opportunity to run a Pop-up Shop where you will look at product design, food production and customer service. We will open this Pop-up Shop to the school community so that your friends can see what you have been up to. We will look to work with local suppliers to run this event. |
