Science has been an integral part of discoveries, inventions and war. In this course, you will investigate and learn about why things change colour, how new substances are made and why things explode. Topics include elements, compounds and states of matter and you will link chemicals to their uses. You will be completing experiments and keeping a log of your observations and findings. Topics covered will be Atoms, the Periodic Table, Acids and Bases, Matter, Explosions, Fire, Fuels, and Chemical Reactions. This course aims to link theoretical knowledge with practical experiences.
