This course is for students who are interested in exploring their potential future focused career pathways using the current resources available. “If you can dream it, you can do it” Walt Disney. You will learn about what makes you unique - your whakapapa, your skills and interests, influences in your life and aspirations for your future personally, academically and for the workforce. Classes will involve research activities, exploring current resources for careers using the internet including creating a curriculum vitae. Practical application will involve a real life work experience opportunity, creating a leisure activity for work life balance, community visits into workplaces and guest speakers from the workforce. “It's not the days in your life but the life in your days that count”.
