Course Description

This course is for students who are interested in comic book art. You will learn how artists and designers create artwork for comics books. You will learn about comic book layout, typography, drawing characters and backgrounds. You will learn a range of traditional and digital drawing techniques. Classes will involve researching different comic book artists, looking at different styles of illustration, and learning to draw unique characters and backgrounds based on different styles of comic books. A 'Zine' will be the final product.
