Course Description

Teacher in Charge:

This course is for students who are interested in comic book art. You will learn how to develop work based on comic book artists and learn how designers create artwork for comics books. You will learn about comic book layout, typography, drawing characters and backgrounds. You will learn a range of traditional painting and computer drawing techniques. Classes will involve researching different comic book artists, looking at different styles of illustration, and learning to draw your own characters and backgrounds based on different styles of comic books. You will learn how to create front covers, and inside pages.
