You will learn a range of topics developing on work learned in 11MATA, leading on to Level 3 Calculus, Statistics or Mathematics. If you have not taken 11MATA you must have approval from Mrs Newson (Head of Mathematics) to take this course.
This course has a strong focus on Algebra and introduces the Mathematics of change  Calculus, for the first time. Students taking this path will enjoy problem solving and have methodical work habits. This course is wellplaced to support students who are looking for future pathways in STEM subjects.

16 Credits from 11MATA, including at least one merit grade. Students not meeting this should gain the support of their Level 1 Mathematics teacher before choosing this option.
