Exploring events where people united around a cause, event or idea.  Topics are individual student choice, but could include: 1931 Napier Earthquake; World War 1; World War 2; Gallipoli; Vietnam War; Springbok Tour; Holocaust; Bastion Point; Land Marches.

Students may be offered additional standards other than those listed, dependent on individual requirements and ability.
