This course is for students who want to learn about the science of chemicals, atoms, explosions and reactions. You will learn about and investigate why things change colour, how new substances are made and why things explode. This will include different types of chemical reactions and linking them to everyday use. Classes will involve completing experiments and keeping a log of your observations and findings. Topics covered will be Atoms, the Periodic Table, Acids and Bases, Matter, Explosions, Fire, Fuels, and Chemical Reactions. This course aims to link theoretical knowledge with practical experiences. |
