In this English course, students will learn the skills to become NZ’s next award winning director. You will firstly unpack how different visual texts (short films, feature films & t.v. shows) are created, the techniques directors use and how they manipulate us through these. You will also learn effective narrative structure and how to storyboard. You will apply this to the production of a trailer for a planned ‘film’ of your own.
