Junior Drama

This course is for students who are interested in drama and want to perform.  It is also for students who want to try drama, but are not keen on being centre stage, to gain the understanding of the elements and conversations of drama and explore their own creativeness through technical theatre.  You will learn about the elements, conventions and techniques of drama that will enable you to perform existing drama scripts and devise (create) drama performances that are original and your own.  We will explore why drama is so intriguing to humans and how we can use this to communicate and heal.  At the end of the semester, we will perform a mini production.
