NCEA Level 2 Music
Course Description
Teacher in Charge:
Year 12 Music looks to further grow your skills as a performer. This year you will develop your repertoire list and be expected to perform more substantial music. You will also have the choice to continue with Composition, or complete a NZ Music research assessment.
The Performing Arts department has a number of co-curricular activities for students to partake in: RockQuest and Tangata Beats competitions, Barbershop groups, Choir, WHATShow and ShowQuest.
Recommended Prior Learning
You should have attended the Year 11 Music Option class, and passed the performance assessments that were set during that year. Alternatively, you will need to show you have the necessary performance skills. Approval into the course is decided by the HOD Music.

Stationery Requirements: Clearfile, 1 x 1B5, Manuscript paper, HB pencil, eraser
