Course Description

Year 11 Japanese continues on from the work done at Years 9 and 10. The emphasis will be on spoken language around familiar topics like food, travel, home and family, school, leisure and weather, with a view to developing opportunities for living and working in Japan, and in particular be able to communicate on the school trip to Japan.
This course will be assessed internally to gain 14 credits. An external Achievement Standard (90896) worth 5 credits will be offered as an additional option.
