Critical Thinking

This course is for students who are interested in participating in and analysing performance across a range of sports and games, including online gaming and board games. You will learn a variety of statistical concepts and introductory probability theory. Classes will involve completing practical and theoretical work in topics such as athletics, ball sports, personal data collection over a period of time, and player strategy and stats. You could create your own game based on probability and chance. The main emphasis however, is on analysis and statistical writing. This course replaces Sports Analytics and Champions League and is not suitable if you have previously completed either course. This is a general Statistics and Probability course.
