This course is for students who have an interest in animals, particularly those who love animal facts or who are interested in animal care and protection. You will learn a variety of statistical concepts and introductory probability theory. Classes will involve topics such as animal matchups and champions, fastest animals ever, extinction rates, and predators and prey. We could look at the sorts of data that zoos and animal experts use and investigate what is happening to different animal populations around the world. Learning from animal experts will be important in this course. This is a general Statistics and Probability course.
