This course is for students who want to develop their leadership skills You will learn what skills and attributes are important for good leadership; how a democracy works in New Zealand; how to run a political campaign; how to create a short documentary using Hitfilm; what mistakes have been made in the past and how we avoid these in the future. Classes will involve team-based activities; a political campaign and class election; the use of technology to create a media story. It is recommended that this is a programme for students who have completed an entry level Social Studies course.
