Critical Thinking

This course is for students who enjoy traditional myths, legends and fairy-tales and want to create new versions of them. You will learn about film techniques and poetic devices and how writers and film directors use these to convey messages through stories. Classes will involve the study of traditional tales, both written and visual, and comparisons to modern adaptations of them. Lessons will teach the skills for close viewing and analysis, as well as how to apply these to create your own concept for a modern adaptation of a classic tale.
