Critical Thinking

This course is for students who enjoy films and written texts focused on the exploits of villains. You will learn more about characterisation and why texts have ‘bad guys’ in them through the study of texts, as well as how to develop your own character and write a narrative. Classes will involve an investigation into these characters - firstly looking at ones that we are more familiar with - and exploring the stereotypes of ‘bad guys’. It will also involve looking at some of the most famous bad guy characters and what purpose villains serve in stories before creating your own.
