This course is for students who are interested in painting and wish to find out about the social meaning behind paintings and create their own works based on social issues. You will learn about a wide range of local and international artists through exploring their inspiration and the meaning behind their art works. You will learn about different painting techniques that artists have used. You will learn about the process of creating meaningful art works based on your own and others artistic voice. Classes will involve students researching art history, learning different painting techniques, and processes to create meaningful art works. (Caters for all levels of experience - beginners to advanced) |
