Course Description

Continue to develop your knowledge of dance. You will complete a minimum of four Achievement Standards during the year.
Course Overview
Term 1
Dance Performance
Students will learn and perform dances from various dance genres and styles.
Term 2
Dance Choreography
Students will either produce a dance to realise a concept or choreography a dance to develop and resolve ideas.
Students will also begin to study a dance performance as they work towards a dance external exam.
Term 3
Analyse a dance performance
Students will study a dance performance that they will analyse in preparation for the dance external exam.
Term 4
Preparation for external exam
Students will continue to prepare for the external examination.
Recommended Prior Learning
Successfully completed Year 12 Dance or have been approved to be placed in this class by the teacher in charge.

Stationery Requirements: 1 x clearfile, refill
