NCEA Level 3 Statistics
Course Description
You will learn a range of topics suited to students who intend to go on to tertiary study and complete courses that rely on statistical knowledge. This course supports learning in other areas, such as Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, and Geography. It provides good background knowledge to support these areas at university.
This is an approved NCEA course for UE and students will need to pass an externally assessed standard in order to meet the required number of credits.
Recommended Prior Learning
15 credits from Level 2 Mathematics, including Statistical Inference standard from 12MATH or 12MATA . If you have not met this requirement you will need the support of your Level 2 Mathematics teacher and approval from the HoD Mathematics before selecting this course.
