English as a Second Language.

Course Description

Students will learn the English language skills that will help them work independently in other classes and/or prepare them for entrance into tertiary study in New Zealand while achieving credits through unit standards.  Students will learn to understand ideas and information through the skills of listening, reading and viewing.  They will also learn to create meaning through speaking, writing and presenting.
