Social Sciences - A Better Earth

This course is for students who have a passion for learning about the fair treatment of people and the conservation of our Earth. You will learn why human rights are important, what rights you have, why some issues are controversial and how climate change is affecting the Earth. Classes will involve looking at controversial issues in the past, present and thinking about the future. We will also have structured debates as a recurring learning activity, as well as inquiry learning into an issue that you are curious about and a social/environmental action.
