Course Description

You will learn:  Event Management (Year 9 Camps/Tabloid Sports); Personal and social development (High Ropes Camp); Physical Skills (Badminton); Communication Team Building and Leadership Skills.

Course Overview

Term 1
Training to facilitate both the swimming and athletics sports, as well as the Year Nine day trips.

Term 2
Preparation and facilitation of a group activity, eg Special Olympics - Have a go day.
High Ropes camp.

Term 3
Develop physical skills - Badminton

Recommended Prior Learning

Shown interest in Physical Education related activities and completed Level 2 Sport & Leisure Studies.

Assessment Information

All assessments will be internally assessed.
