Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Ms K. Edser.
In this course you will delve deeper into the world of food through the Hospitality lens. You will further develop your ability to prepare, cook and serve a variety of different food and drinks in an industry setting and there will be an emphasis on presenting the food to a high standard. You will work with a qualified chef to prepare and present a variety of dishes in our School Restaurant that we run in terms 1 and 2. You will learn advanced Barista skills like Latte Art and work with outside organizations to further develop your skills in this area. There will be opportunities for you to advance yourself through opportunities like DINE Academy and workshops where we will work with people from the wider Hospitality Industry. If you have a love of food and are good with people then this course is right for you.
