Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mrs R. Blair

This course covers topics in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Earth & Space.   Topics include Mechanics, Genetics, Chemical reactions and Heat.

You will build on the knowledge gained in Year 9 and 10, you will:

  • develop an understanding of the world, built on current scientific theories
  • use your current scientific knowledge and skills for problem solving and developing further knowledge
  • use scientific knowledge and skills to make informed decisions about the communication, application, and implications of science to the sustainability of the environment.

This course is a required pathway to the senior sciences in years 12 and 13.
