Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr S. MacLean
In this course you will learn basic cookery skills, food preparation etc, through Service IQ (Industry based) Unit Standards in Food and Beverage. You will look at how you can use these skills to produce food and beverages that you can sell through a pop-up Food Truck. You will also have the opportunity to assist the Year 13 Chef's with basic food prep in the School Restaurant.
Recommended Prior Learning
Chefs Delight or Waiopehu Kitchen Rules would help but is not essential.
