NCEA Level 1 Science
Teacher in Charge: Mrs R. Blair
Developing Scientific skills is crucial to thriving in a changing world. Many of the major challenges that confront our world need to be approached from a scientific perspective.
In this Science course, you will study Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Space standards; building on the knowledge you have gained in the last two years.
In all of the standards studied, you will develop practical skills, and the internal assessments you complete will be based on practical experiments.
Topics include Mechanics, Genetics, Chemical reactions, Heat, and Astronomy.
What will I learn in Level 1 Science?
